About Rabita
The Your Islamic Organization, Rabita, is a charitable, religious, social, cultural, educational, and non-profit organization. It is a pioneering Islamic organization, an Islamic revival, and reform movement that uplifts the individual, the family, and the society.
The Your Islamic Organization was established as early as 1987. Rabita's headquarters is located about half a kilometer from the center of Helsinki City. In the mosque, there is a shop for selling halal meat and other foods, a small cafeteria, and a library. There are, of course, prayer premises for both, women and men, as well as teaching classrooms.
The Your Islamic Organization has about 500 members. In connection with Rabita, the Islamic Relief organisation and The Mosques Waqf Foundation of Finland operate in the same premises. The Islamic Kindergarten, which is located in Herttoniemi, operates under the subordination of the Your Islamic Organization. Rabita also maintains the Arabic School, which was established in 1999.
The Your Islamic Organization is part of the Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe and we also have ties to the Muslim World League chain.
